Replace Item in Generic Subcontracting List of Material (tipcf3216m000)
Use this session to replace the items in a generic subcontracting list of material.
Note: This session can be accessed only if the Configurations by Site field is set to or and the Product Configurator (PCF) check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
You can use the
button to replace item to be replaced with the replacement item in the specified range of in the generic subcontracting list of material.Field Information

- Item to be Replaced
- The code of the material that must be replaced in the generic subcontracting list of material.
- Replacement Item
- The material or component with which the item must be replaced.
- Check Date
- The date and time for which LN checks the validity of the generic subcontracting list of material.
- Valid From Date
- The date and time which is the considered as valid from date on the generic subcontracting list of material line on which the replacement item is placed.
- Selection Range
- Use the fields in the Selection Range group box to specify the range of generic subcontracting list of materials that must be replaced.

- Actual Versions
- If this check box is selected, the actual version of the item is replaced.
- New Versions
- If this check box is selected, the new version of the replaced item is created.

- Retain Original Item
- If this check box is selected, the material lines of the item to be replaced are retained. LN uses a new sequence number (as a subdivision of the old position number) for the replacement item. This enables you to see which items have been replaced, and provides a history on the material lines. The valid until date on the line with the item that must be replaced is populated with the Valid From Date.
- Retain Valid From Date
- If this check box is selected, the
Valid From Date field is not applicable. As a result, the original effective date of
the list of material for which the item is replaced, is retained.
If this check box is cleared, the date specified in the Valid From Date field is applicable for the updated list of material.
- Retain Original Warehouse and Scrap
- If this check box is selected, the warehouse and scrap material associated with the original item are retained.
