Production Bill of Material Control (timfc3199m000)
Use this session to define the settings and a template for the production BOM (Production Bill of Materials) that is received from Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) (internal or external).
- The Engineering Revisions check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Originating App field is set to PLM (Internal) or PLM (external) in the Item Base Data Parameters (tcibd9199m000) session.
Field Information
- Introduction Date

The date and time from which the production bill of material control parameters are valid. The parameters are valid up to the effective date of a more recent parameter setting.

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to add new revisions manually to a production BOM which originates from PLM. If the origin of production BOM is not PLM, you can always add a revision.
- Modify PLM Controlled Fields

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to manually modify the fields that are controlled by PLM based on the template on the production BOMs which originate from PLM. If the origin of production BOM is not PLM, you can always modify the fields in the production BOM.
- Add/Delete Material Line

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to manually add or delete the material lines of a production BOM that originates from PLM. If the origin of production BOM is not PLM, you can always add or delete the material lines.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Manual Modify PLM Fields check box is selected. - Add/Delete Alternative Material

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to manually add or delete the alternative materials on a production BOM that originates from PLM. If the origin of production BOM is not PLM, you can always add or delete the alternative materials.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Manual Add/Delete Material Line check box is selected. - Add/Delete Reference Designator

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to manually add or delete the reference designators on a production BOM that originates from PLM. If the origin of production BOM is not PLM, you can always add or delete the reference designators.

- Scrap Percentage

Indicates whether the percentage of the materials that is expected to be scrap, is controlled by PLM.
