Classify Items (tigrt0180m000)
Use this session to classify items. If the item is not yet present in the Item Base Data module, you can also generate an item code by using this session.
Field Information
- Project
-
The project for which an item can be classified. The project code refers to a project.
Note:- Projects must be defined in the General Projects (tcmcs0552m000) session.
- It is not mandatory to select a project.
- Item
-
The item to be classified. If the Project field is filled, the item is a customized item. If the Project field is not filled, the item is a standard item.
Note:- Item data must be defined in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session.
- It is not mandatory to select an item. If you do not select an item, LN generates a new item code after the classification process.
- Family

Select the family code, which refers to a family, that has been assigned to the classified item.
Note:- Families must be defined in the Families (tigrt0103m000) session.
- If you have selected a previously classified item, LN shows the associated family. You cannot assign the item to another family. You must first remove the classified item data in the Delete Classified Items (tigrt0240m000) session.
- Sequence

The sequence number of the aspect within the family.
Note: You cannot modify this field; LN automatically fills this field. - Feature-Aspect

The feature that you want to use to search for items.
Note: Features must be assigned to a family in the Features by Family (tigrt0102m000) session. - Aspect within Feature

The aspect of the family feature that is being classified. The aspect number refers to an aspect of the feature.
Note:- Aspects must be defined in the Aspects by Feature (tigrt0104m000) session.
- You cannot modify this field; LN fills this field automatically.
- Value
-
The return value for the selected answer. The return value is included in the item's classification code.
- Answer

The (alphanumeric) answer associated with the aspect that has been selected in the classification process.
