Search Definitions (tigrt0110m000)
Use this session to find, list, and define search definitions.
Search definitions are useful for repeatedly searching for classified items in families and associated features using the same search values.
Start the Families by Search Definition (tigrt0111m000) session from the appropriate menu to display the family or families linked to the search definition. Start the Features by Search Definition (tigrt0112m000) session from the appropriate menu to display the feature(s) linked to the search definition.
Field Information
- Search Definition

The number that identifies a search definition.
The default value consists of the first free search definition number.
- Description

The description or name of the code.
- Search Key
-
The search key enables you to quickly retrieve search definitions by a key other than the number.
Default value
The default value consists of the first 16 characters of the description.
- User

The owner of the search definition. The user code refers to a Product Classification module user. If a search definition is created, this field is filled with your logon code.
Note: Users must be defined in the User Data (tigrt0117m000) session. - Description

The description or name of the code.
- Number of Def. Used

The number of search definitions created by a user.
You cannot modify this field; LN automatically fills this field.
- Max. Number Allowed

The maximum number of search definitions.
Note: You can create a maximum number of 250 search definitions.
