Aspects by Feature (tigrt0104m000)
Use this session to list aspects by feature, which you can maintain or display in the Aspects by Feature (tigrt0104m000) details session.
Field Information
- Feature
-
The feature code.
- Used
-
If this check box is selected, properly classified items are present for the family to which the selected feature is related. Therefore, you cannot change the interaction structure. You can only modify the interaction structure if you clear the check box.
- Total Length
-
The length of the feature's classification code. The length consists of the total length of all feature aspects.
- Aspect
-
You can define between one and eight aspects for each feature. The first aspect is created by default.
- Length of Aspect
-
The length of the aspect's classification code.
Note: The total length of all aspects for a feature cannot exceed eight characters. This implies that the number of aspects possible for a feature also depends on the length of the individual aspects. - Interaction Type
-
The interaction type determines how the classification dialog looks like. Two types of interaction exist: Question and Answer and Calculation.
Allowed values
- Calculation
-
LN prompts you for a series of numbers. LN uses these numbers to perform a calculation. The result is included in the classification code. You can also let LN compare the calculation result with an answer group. LN includes the answer's return value in the classification code.
- Question and Answer
-
LN asks a question, and you must then select an answer from the answer group. LN includes the return value of the answer in the classification code.
- Question
-
The question code that refers to the question that is asked during classification. You must define questions in the Questions (tigrt0120m000) session.
Note: A question can only be linked to an aspect if the interaction type is Question and Answer. - Answer Group
-
The answer group from which to select the answer during the classification process. An answer group can only be linked to an aspect if the interaction type is Question and Answer. The length of the return value of the answer group must be less than or equal to the length of the aspect.
Note: You can define answer groups in the Answer Groups (tigrt0125m000) session. - Answer Type
-
Three answer types exist: Numeric, Alphanumeric, and Answer & Follow-up.
Allowed values
- Alphanumeric
-
Both text and numbers are allowed.
- Answer & Follow-up
-
Both text and numbers are allowed; each answer can be followed by another question.
- Numeric
-
Only numbers are allowed.
- Length of Return Value
-
The length of the code that is included in the classification code when an answer of this answer group is selected.
Allowed values
This value must fall between one and eight characters.
- Calculation ID
-
The calculation ID that refers to a calculation, which is performed in the classification process.
A calculation can only be linked to an aspect if the interaction type is Calculation. In addition, the Calculation Type field in the Calculation ID (tigrt0130m000) session must be Dialog.
The calculation type for the calculation must be Question and Answer.
Note: You must define calculation IDs in the Calculation ID (tigrt0130m000) session.
