Calculate Estimated End Item Unit Costs (ticst0210m000)
The Moment Freezing Estimates field in the Production Orders (tisfc0501m000) details session determines the time that the estimates for materials and hours are frozen, after which the end item unit costs are calculated automatically:
- During Creating Order
- During Releasing Order
- Before First WIP Transaction

- Calculation Date
-
The date on which the calculation data must be based. This is mainly applicable for the standard costs of materials which are effective on that date.
If the Moment Freezing Estimates parameter is Before First WIP Transaction this date can only be entered.
The default is the current date.
The date you entered must meet the following conditions:
- Not later than the current date
- Not later, or equal to the date on which the first financial WIP transaction is done.
- Check Existence of Material Standard Costs
-
During calculation, LN reads the material standard costs to get the sum of material costs of the operation or production order. If a standard cost is not (yet) calculated, the material costs can be lower then the real estimated value.
If this check box is selected, LN checks if all standard cost of materials are calculated. If a standard cost is not present, LN generates an error report and terminates the calculation.
If this check box is cleared, no additional check is done on the standard costs of materials. This means that the estimated value of material costs can be lower, and production results are possible.
