Calculate Customer Owned Cost (ticpr2215m000)

Use this session to to calculate the customer owned costs for the full range of items. This session is applicable if the materials are provided by the customer, which is used on their orders or projects. The products that consume this material involve customer costs.

Material A is sent by the customer, is 100% customer owned. Now, product B is made using material A and other materials. In the Bill of Material of B, material A is marked as Customer Furnished Material. In this case, product B has partly costs of you and partly customer's costs. Partly owned by you and partly by the customer.

In the Item - Costing (ticpr0107m000) session, you can specify Combined Ownership Allowed for a product with customer furnished material. customer owned costs are (to be) calculated for the item in the standard cost calculation process. for a product (Item b) with customer furnished material. Then next to your cost, the customer costs can be calculated using the Calculate Customer Owned Costs (ticpr2215m000) session.

The calculation of the customer owned cost amount is displayed in the Amount Customer Owned field, on the Item Specific Standard Costs in the Calculated Item Costs (ticpr2601m000) session.
