Configuration

Use this field to determine which BOM lines are printed.

To print the BOM for a specific effectivity unit, select Specific and enter an effectivity unit.

To print the BOM for the standard configuration, select Standard.

To print all BOM lines, select All.

Allowed values

All BOM lines of the item.

Standard

The BOM lines of the item's standard configuration.

Specific

All BOM lines of the item, except for the unit effective BOM lines that are not valid.

Quantities

The BOM is printed sorted by quantities of the materials needed.

Lead Time data

The BOM is printed with the materials sorted by properties.

Summarized Quantities

The BOM is printed with the materials sorted by the quantities from the summarized BOM.

Dates

The BOM is printed with the materials sorted by need date.

COLT

The BOM is printed with the materials sorted by cumulative order lead time.

Material Content

The BOM is printed with the materials sorted by content.

Print Product Variant Options

If this check box is selected, the options for the product variant are printed.

Print Material-Routing Relations

If this check box is selected, any material-routing relationships for the component items are printed.

Material-routing relationships are defined in the BOM Line - Material-Routing Relationships (tibom0140m000) session.

Alternative Material

If this check box is selected, the alternative materials that are linked to the BOM are printed in the report.

Use Up Material

If this check box is selected, the use-up materials that are linked to the BOM are printed in the report.

Print Reference Designators

If this check box is selected, the reference designators that are linked to the BOM are printed in the report.

Print Operations

If this check box is selected, the routing operations for each component item are printed. The man hours and machine hours are printed for each operation.

Print Operation Texts

If this check box is selected, any texts created in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session are printed.

To create or edit these texts:

1. Start the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
2. Double-click an operation
3. Click Text

Note: You can not select this check box unless the Print Operations check box is also selected.

Print BOM Texts

If this check box is selected, any texts linked to the bill of material will be printed.

To create or edit a text:

1. Start the Bill of Material (tibom1110m000) session.
2. Double-click a component item
3. Click Text

Print Item Texts

If this check box is selected, then any texts associated with items will be printed.

To create or edit item text:

1. Start the Items (tcibd0501m000) session.
2. Double click an item
3. Click Text

Options

Explode Purchased BOMs

If this check box is selected, LN prints the BOM structures for items of type Purchased.

Use Default Order Quantity

If this check box is selected, the lot size is taken as the default order quantity.

If this check box is cleared, you can enter a lot size in the Lot Size field.

Lot Size

If you want to make a lot that contains more than one item, you can use this field to calculate the quantity of items in a bill of material.

Note: The default value is: 00

For example, if you enter 10, the quantities printed on the summarized BOM will be ten times greater than if the lot size was one.

You can only use this field if the Use Default Order Quantity check box is selected.

Check Validity Components and Routing Against Date

If this check box is selected, LN will check if the component items and routing are valid on the date you specified in the Effective Date field.

Print Language for Texts

Enter the code for the language in which you want to print the texts that you have previously selected.

If none of the check boxes for printing texts are selected, you cannot enter a code.

Material

The material for which the reports is printed.

Planning Cluster

The planning cluster the BOM is used in.

Sort By

Select report to be printed.

Allowed values

Component Dimensions

If this value is selected the report will be printed sorted by component dimensions. If this check box is selected, LN will sort the items by item dimension (length and width). You can define the length and width in the Bill of Material (tibom1110m000) session.

In other words, the same item can appear many times in the printout.

Component

If this value is selected the report will be printed with sorted by component.
