Generate Time Horizon-driven SILS Supply Messages (tiasc8212m000)
Use this session to generate or update order-controlled/SILS supply messages that are time horizon driven. In the Supply In Line Sequence (SILS) supply system, assembly parts are delivered as part of an assembly kit. Time horizon driven means that supply messages for a line station order (LSO) are generated or updated, if this LSO falls in a pre-defined time fence. Several time fences are defined to control the generation and update of supply messages. This session is normally run as a job, scheduled during the night, or manually to apply changes in order content, or scheduled delivery sequence and dates/times.
The time fences are defined in the Assembly Kit (whwmd4150s000) session.
Field Information
- Assembly Line
-
The assembly lines on which the LSOs are executed for which you want to generate or update supply messages.
- Generate Messages
-
If this check box is selected, supply messages are generated for LSOs that fall in the Generate Horizon and for which no supply messages yet exist. You can select this check box along with the Regenerate Messages check box to perform both actions in one run.
- Regenerate Messages
-
If this check box is selected, existing supply messages are updated. You can select this check box along with the Generate Messages check box to perform both actions in one run.
- Include Schedule Delay
-
LN checks whether the progress of the assembly order is according to the schedule or not. If the actual times show a delay, the delay time can be taken into account in the calculation of the planned delivery times of the assembly parts. Select this check box if you want to enable this function.
- Line Station
-
The line stations connected to the LSOs for which you want to generate or update supply messages.
- Planned Start Time
-
The planned start times for the LSOs for which you want to generate or update supply messages.
- Assembly Kit
-
The assembly kits that contain the assembly parts required by the LSOs for which you want to generate or update supply messages.
- Assembly Order
-
The assembly orders that contain the LSOs for which you want to generate or update supply messages. The assembly order status must be Sequenced or In Progress.
