Forecast Input (tiapl5131m000)
Use this session to view and maintain forecast that can be maintained at only one
level (forecast item or model level) in the forecast structure. The forecast is version
controlled. A new forecast can be maintained manually or imported from Excel.
Note:
- The session can be accessed only if the Forecasting check box is selected in the Assembly Planning Parameters (tiapl0100s000) session.
- When the status of the forecast is set to Approved:
- The version cannot be modified.
- The version can be used for planning.
- The previous version is set to Expired.
Field Information
- Scenario

The scenario ID. The scenario is defaulted from the Scenarios (cprpd4100m000) session.
- Forecast Item

The code of the forecast item.
- Base Model

The code of the base model used for the forecast item.
Note:This field is enabled only if:
- The Base Models check box is selected in the Product Configuration Parameters (tipcf0100m000) session.
- The Forecast Status is set to Active in the Item Forecasting Model Rules (tiapl5116m000) session.
- Channel

The code of the channel used for the forecast item.
Note:This field is enabled only if the:
- Channels check box is selected in the Assembly Planning Parameters (tiapl0100s000) session.
- Status is se to Active in the Item - Forecasting Channels (tiapl5106m000) session.
- Version

The version ID of the forecast.
