Taxonomy (tfgld1670m000)
Use this session to to define a new Taxonomy. This a MMT session and these sessions are displayed:
- Taxonomies Accounts (tfgld1171m000) session: You can use this session to define the accounting structure for the taxonomy.
- Errors and Warnings per Taxonomy (tfgld1174m000) session: You can use this session to view all the errors and warnings which are listed by LN after validation. The error’s must be solved, and the warnings must be accepted.
Field Information
- Taxonomy

The code of the Taxonomy.
- Version
-
The version number of the taxonomy. LN automatically generates the version number. If you update the existing version of the taxonomy, LN saves the updated taxonomy with a new version which is one number greater than the previous version.
- Description
-
The description of the taxonomy.
- Status
-
The status of the taxonomy. You can change the status using the Release, Validate and Close options from the Action menu. See: Taxonomy.
Allowed values
- Draft
-
When taxonomy is defined for the first time, the status is set to “Draft”.
- Validation Errors
-
Indicates that the blocking error occurred during validation. The errors can be viewed in the Errors and Warnings per Taxonomy session.
- Validated
-
Indicate that the taxonomy has cleared the mandatory checks and ready to be activated. Warning messages can exists and need to be accepted, before activation of the Taxonomy.
- Active
-
Indicate that the taxonomy can be used for reporting, imported to FST and published using a BOD. The taxonomy now cannot be updated or deleted. If changes are required, a new version (copy) of the taxonomy is created.
- Closed

Indicates that the taxonomy cannot be used.
Note:- Taxonomies with Status set to Draft cannot be used for reporting purposes.
- A taxonomy can only be set to Active if a mapping is setup and the mapping rules are met.
- Dual Accounting Indicator

The accounting scheme to which the ledger account is linked.
Allowed values
- Statutory

A ledger account used for official accounting purposes according to legal requirements.
- Complementary
-
A ledger account that you can use for the amounts that are complementary to the amounts in the statutory accounts. For example, you can link a statutory account and a complementary account to a parent account. If you print the Management report based on the parent accounts, on the report ERP LN adds the amounts in the complementary account to the amount in the statutory accounts.
- Both
- All Companies

If this check box is selected, all companies in the financial group company are included in the taxonomy. The taxonomy mapping must include all the companies.
- Dimensions Used in Mapping

If this check box is selected, mapping is done on the dimension level. Using this option impact the performance of the system.
- Unaccepted warnings present

If this check box is selected, LN indicates that the taxonomy is not validated and warning message are generated which must be resolved. You can view the warnings on Errors and Warnings per taxonomy tab.
