Mappings by Taxonomy Account (tfgld1172m000)
Use this session to define the mapping of the LN General Ledger accounts to the taxonomy Account ID’s
Field Information
- Taxonomy

The code of the taxonomy.
- Version
-
The version number of the taxonomy.
- Description
-
The description of the taxonomy.
- Account
-
The account ID to which the General Ledger is mapped.
- Description

The description of the account.
- Status
-
The status of the taxonomy. You can change the status using the Release, Validate and Close options from the Action menu. See: Taxonomy.
Allowed values
- Draft
-
When taxonomy is defined for the first time, the status is set to “Draft”.
- Validation Errors
-
Indicates that the blocking error occurred during validation. The errors can be viewed in the Errors and Warnings per Taxonomy session.
- Validated
-
Indicate that the taxonomy has cleared the mandatory checks and ready to be activated. Warning messages can exists and need to be accepted, before activation of the Taxonomy.
- Active
-
Indicate that the taxonomy can be used for reporting, imported to FST and published using a BOD. The taxonomy now cannot be updated or deleted. If changes are required, a new version (copy) of the taxonomy is created.
- Closed

Indicates that the taxonomy cannot be used.
Note:- Taxonomies with Status set to Draft cannot be used for reporting purposes.
- A taxonomy can only be set to Active if a mapping is setup and the mapping rules are met.
- Dual Accounting Indicator

The accounting scheme to which the ledger account is linked.
Allowed values
- Statutory

A ledger account used for official accounting purposes according to legal requirements.
- Complementary
-
A ledger account that you can use for the amounts that are complementary to the amounts in the statutory accounts. For example, you can link a statutory account and a complementary account to a parent account. If you print the Management report based on the parent accounts, on the report ERP LN adds the amounts in the complementary account to the amount in the statutory accounts.

- All Companies

If this check box is selected, all companies in the financial group company are included in the taxonomy. The taxonomy mapping must include all the companies.
- Dimensions Used in Mapping

If this check box is selected, mapping is done on the dimension level. Using this option impact the performance of the system.
- Line Number

The line number.
- Company
-
The From and To fields define a range of: financial companies to which the taxonomy account are mapped.
- Ledger Account

The From and To fields define a range of: ledger accounts to which the taxonomy account are mapped.
Note: Overlapping of ranges is not allowed and a warning message is displayed by LN. If you ignore the warning, during the validation step, LN performs the same check which result in the generation of an error message. - From Dimension

The dimension from which the taxonomy account is mapped.
Note:- This field is applicable only if the Dimensions Used in Mapping check box is selected.
- If a dimension mapping is used, the taxonomy cannot be published.
- The usage of dimension mapping is not recommended as it is not possible to monitoring the consistency of the mapping and is also time-consuming.
