Statement Column References (tffst1111m000)
Use this session to maintain column references.
Field Information
- General
-
- Financial Statement
- Statement Column
-
The column number.
- Variable
-
The elements included in the formula used to calculate the column value.
Note:- The variable must be included in the formula defined for the selected statement column in the Formula field of the Statement Columns (tffst1105m000) session. Otherwise, this variable is not available.
- Each variable can take up a maximum of ten positions.
- Sequence Number
-
The sequence number allows you to define a number of data for one variable.
Example
Formula: (a-b)/c
The following data is defined for the variables:
Variable a a b c Sequence Number 1 2 1 1 Value 100 250 200 50 The column value is calculated as follows:
((100 + 250) - 200) / 50) = 3
Variable "a" is calculated by adding the values 100 and 250
The default value is: last sequence number + 1. If required, you can overwrite this value.

- Column Reference
-
Select the amount or quantity based on which the column amount or quantity must be calculated.
- Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range
-
- Variable
-
The periods to select amounts/quantities from are defined in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session.
- Fixed
-
The periods to select amounts/quantities from must be entered in the Statement Column References (tffst1111m000) session, and cannot be changed in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session.
- Variable based on first period
-
The periods to select amounts/quantities from are defined in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session (value selection). In this case, the From Period and To Period in the Statement Column References (tffst1111m000) session match the From Year/Period defined in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session.
- Variable based on last period
-
The periods to select amounts/quantities from are defined in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session (value selection). In this case, the From Period and To Period in the Statement Column References (tffst1111m000) session match the To Year/Period defined in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session.
- Not Applicable
Example
In the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session, for the current year, this period selection was defined:
From period: 1 To period: 6 The year comprises 12 periods.
Period shift Resulting period Purpose From To From To Variable -12 -12 1 prev. year 6 prev. year To retrieve the values of the previous year for the same period range. Variable 0 -1 1 curr. year 5 To retrieve the values up to the last period. Variable based on first period 0 0 1 1 To retrieve the values for the first period. Variable based on first period 0 1 1 2 To retrieve the values for the first and second period. Variable based on last period 0 0 6 6 To retrieve the values of the ‘to period’. - Other Column
-
The number of the column whose data you want to link to the selected variable/sequence number combination.
Note:- This field is only available if you selected Other Column in the Column Reference field.
- LN will assign the total column value to the selected combination, by aggregating the values of all variables linked to this column.
- Period Details
-
- Period From
-
The first year of which you want to use the data to calculate the variables.
Note: This field is only available if you selected Fixed in the Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range field. - From Period
-
The first period of which you want to use the data to calculate the variables.
Note: This field is only available if you selected Fixed in the Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range field. - Period From - Period Shift Correction
-
Enter the number of periods to deviate from the start period, which is determined by the Fiscal Period and Reporting Period fields in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session. When this session is run, LN will take into account the number of periods entered here. To count backwards a number of periods, type "-" before the number.
Note: This field is only available if you selected Variable based on first period in the Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range field.Example
In the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000), this period selection is defined:
From period: 2 To period: 4 However, for a specific statement column you want to select the values of periods 1 to 6, whereas for the other statement columns you only want to include values of periods 2 to 4. In that case, enter this data:
Deviation From period: 2 -1 To period: 4 +2 In the specific column the values of periods 1 to 6 will be selected.
- Period To
-
The last year of which you want to use the data to calculate the variables.
Note: This field is only available if you selected Fixed in the Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range field. - To Period
-
The last period of which you want to use the data to calculate the variables.
Note: This field is only available if you selected Fixed in the Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range field. - Period To - Period Shift Correction
-
Enter the number of periods to deviate from the end period, which is determined by the Fiscal Period and Reporting Period fields in the Process Financial Statement Values (tffst1249m000) session. When this session is run, LN will take into account the number of periods entered here. To count backwards a number of periods, type "-" before the number.
Note: This field is only available if you selected Variable based on last period in the Variable or Fixed Year/Period Range field.Example
