Adjust Asset Books (tffam8225m000)
Use this session to specify a range of asset books to adjust. For each book, LN first determines whether an adjustment is possible. Only assets that have been capitalized can be adjusted. Each adjustment is recorded as a transaction.
You record adjustments by book to change those values on assets that can vary from book to book. You record a mass adjustment by book to change a large number of assets in one or more of their related books.
In order to obtain the asset books for which you want to adjust the values together, you enter values in the criteria fields, or leave them empty to perform the transaction on all assets in LN. You can adjust one or more multiple assets with related books or one or more multiple books with related assets.
After you selected the criteria for the asset books you want to adjust, you enter the new values and choose the books to which LN must apply your changes. Based on the values you adjust, LN must restate depreciation.
