Actual Costs by Reference Unit (tfcat2510m000)

Field Information

Year

The year in which the actual costs were incurred.

Period

The period in which the actual costs were incurred.

Dimension Type

The dimension type to which the actual costs belong.

Dimension

The dimension to which the actual costs apply.

Reference Unit

The reference unit to which the actual data applies.

Ledger Account

The ledger account to where the actual costs are imported.

Debit / Credit

The debit/credit indicator.

Total Actual Costs

The total actual costs for this period.

The actual costs are displayed after you run the Import Actual Costs from GLD (tfcat2210m000) session. Before you import the actual costs, the actual performances must be imported or defined.

Budget

If the actual costs change, LN automatically calculates the allowed costs and deviations for the budget. For the other budgets, you can use the Derive Allowed Costs and Variances (tfcat2240m000) session.

Variable

The variable actual costs for this period for the relevant ledger account.

Fixed

The fixed actual costs for this period for the relevant ledger account.

Variability %

The relationship between the variable and the total costs expressed as a percentage. This relationship is automatically calculated as follows: (Actual Variable Costs / Total Actual Costs) x 100

Total

The total actual rate/surcharge as calculated by LN.

LN calculates the total actual rate/surcharge as follows:

• If the reference unit type is Quantity Based:
  • Total Actual Costs/ Performance Quantity
• If the reference unit type is Amount Based:
  • 100 x ( Total Actual Costs/ Surcharge Base Amount

Variable

The variable actual rate/surcharge as calculated by LN.

LN calculates the variable actual rate/surcharge as follows:

• If the reference unit type is Quantity Based:
  • Variable Actual Costs/ Performance Quantity
• If the reference unit type is Amount Based:
  • 100 x ( Variable Actual Costs/ Surcharge Base Amount

Fixed

The fixed actual rate/surcharge as calculated by LN. Note

LN calculates the fixed actual rate/surcharge as follows:

• If the reference unit type is Quantity Based:
  • Fixed Actual Costs/ Performance Quantity
• If the reference unit type is Amount Based:
  • 100 x ( Fixed Actual Costs/ Surcharge Base Amount

Note:  Amount Based is only applicable if the accounting system in the Cost Accounting Parameters (tfcat0100s000) session is Full Cost Accounting.

Rates Valid

If this check box is selected, LN has calculated rates/surcharges.

Note: LN can only calculate rates/surcharges if the actual performance is available.
