Write Off Excess Billing (tfacp2265m000)
Use this session to write off excess billing on a requisition. If a procurement card statement is billed more than the requisition, in other words, the matched quantity is greater than the received quantity in the requisition, the excess billed quantity is written off.
The session also provides the option to write off open requisitions (before a certain date), for which procurement card statements are not expected.
You can select one of the following ways to process excess billing:
- Adjust Open Requisition. LN links open requisitions that are not matched to requisitions with excess billing. The link is established based on the resemblance of the matching criteria of the requisition's matching line. The requisition with excess billing is written off and the matched quantity of the open requisition is increased. If the matched quantity now equals the requisition quantity, the requisition is set to Posted.
- Write Off Open Requisition. LN updates the requisition. The matched quantity and the write-off quantity are both increased. The requisition is set to Posted.
- Write Off Excess Billing. LN writes off the requisition with the excess quantity (that is: matching line quantity - requisition quantity). The requisition is set to Posted.
If you select both Adjust Open Requisition and Write Off Open Requisition, if no linked requisition is found, the open requisition is written off.
