Activate/Deactivate Contracts (tdsls3205m000)

Use this session to activate or deactivate various sales contracts.

When you activate a contract, its status changes to Active. When you deactivate a contract, its status changes to Free.

When activating or deactivating sales contracts, you can update the contract lines. If contract lines are updated, the following data is activated or deactivated:

  • Sales contract lines
  • Sales contract price revisions
  • Sales contract line logistic data

To activate or deactivate a contract, the following conditions must be met:

Activate Deactivate
Contract lines must exist. If called or booked quantities exist, the Maintaining Contracts Always Allowed check box must be selected in the Sales Contract Parameters (tdsls0100s300) session.
The expiry date must be after the current date.
Note: The session name can be Activate/Deactivate Contracts, Activate Contracts, or Deactivate Contracts.

Select the Activate check box to activate sales contracts.

Select the Deactivate check box to deactivate sales contracts.

Contract Type

Select the type of contract to activate or deactivate.

Allowed values

Update Status of Lines

If this check box is selected, the status of linked contract lines and related sales contract price revisions and sales contract line logistic data, is updated.

Note: This check box is not applicable for contract lines with the Terminated status.
Update Status of Terminated Lines

If this check box is selected, the status of linked contract lines with the Terminated status, is updated.

Print Updated Contracts

If this check box is selected, a report is printed with the activated or deactivated sales contracts.

Print Error Report

If this check box is selected, a report is printed with the errors that are encountered during the activation or deactivation process.
