Field Information
- Change Reason
-
The code identifying the change reason.
- Update Lost Sales
-
If this check box is selected, the item's lost sales figures are updated in the Item Issue by Period (whinr1520m000) and Item Issue by Warehouse and Period (whinr1530m000) sessions following a change in the sales order (line).
Example
If an item on a sales order line is changed from item X to item Y (because item X is not in stock), you can decide to register item X as Original Demand or as Lost Sales. When LN updates the demand and lost sales for item X, the inventory history shows a demand for item X. LN then takes this demand into account when item X is produced or purchased. If you do not log the demand for item X, LN only takes the demand for item Y into account, so future production or purchasing will concentrate on item Y.
