Note:- If the Extended Inventory Check and the current check box are selected, when sales quotation lines are converted to sales order lines, the sales quotation line's promising status can be Not Accepted, Pending, or Exception.
- If the Extended Inventory Check is selected and the current check box is cleared, the sales quotation line's promising status must be Accepted to convert sales quotation lines.
- If the Extended Inventory Check is cleared and the current check box is selected, plan items, for which the available-to-promise is insufficient, are not converted if the CTP Check for Sales check box is selected in the Planning Parameters (cprpd0100m000) session.
- Extended Inventory Check
-
If this check box is selected, an extended check on available inventory for sales quotation lines is performed, which means sales quotation lines receive a quotation promising status based on which delivery of the lines can or cannot be promised to the customer.
Note:This check box can only be selected if one or more of the following fields are set to Yes or Time-Phased:
- Inventory Check during Quotation Line Entry

- Minimum Probability % for Time Phased Inventory
-
A quotation's minimum success percentage for time-phased inventory movements. Quotation lines (original or alternative lines) with a success percentage that is lower than the value specified in this field are not inserted in the Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1500m000) session.
For quotations that contain both an original line and alternative lines, only one planned inventory transaction can be made. LN does not generate planned inventory transactions for both the original line and alternative lines.
To determine for which line a planned inventory transaction is generated, LN uses the following search logic:
- LN searches for an original or alternative line that has the Confirmed status and that has a success percentage that is equal to, or higher than the value entered in this field.
- If no Confirmed line can be found, LN checks if the original line has a success percentage that is equal to, or higher than the value entered in this field.
- If no original line can be found, LN searches for the alternative line with the highest success percentage that is equal to, or higher than the value entered in this field. If several alternative lines exist with the same success percentage, LN generates a planned inventory transaction for the alternative line with the lowest sequence number.
Note: If, for planned items, the CTP Check for Sales check box is selected in the Planning Parameters (cprpd0100m000) session, planned inventory transactions are generated when the quotation promising status becomes Accepted and the expected success percentage is equal or higher than the value entered in this field. If the Accepted status changes to another status for the line, the planned inventory transactions are reversed.Performance aspects
The setting of this field could affect system performance and database growth. For more information, refer to Minimum success percentage for time-phased inventory movements.
