Permissions for Financials (tcsec3160m000)
Use this session to view and maintain the permissions ( authorization policies, authorization roles, and assigned rules), for the Financials related process.
Field Information
- Permission for

The business process for which permissions are defined.
If the Permission for field set to Employee, this attribute is used to authorize:
- Dimensions based on the Person Responsible specified in the Dimensions (tfgld0510m000) session.
- Financial Statements documents based on the user specified in the Created by User field in the Financial Statements (tffst1500m000) session.
If the Permission for field is set to GL-Code or Ledger Account, you can specify a range of GL codes or Chart of Accounts for which authorizations can be set. The Of the Employee and From Authorized Documents check boxes are disabled for these attributes (GL-code or Ledger Account).
If you set the Permission for field to Dimension, the Dimension Type field to Department, and click , you can access the documents, based on the specified authorization level, listed on the Financials Documents tab in the Employee Document Permissions (tcsec2600m000) session.

The employee can use the data related to the specified business process. For example, the employee can use the project data in Hours Accounting.

The employee can modify the data and execute the related processes.
- No Permission

The data related to the specified business process is not displayed.

This value is displayed only if a business process is not selected.

Note:- In the Group Company Parameters (tfgld0101s000) session, Dimension Types can be linked to a data object such as Project, Warehousing, or Business Partners.
- If Dimension Types are linked to a data object such as Project, the Permission for field can be used to assign the Authorization Level of the data object to the Dimension Type.

If this check box is selected, the Authorization Level can also be set to Business Partner Permissions, or Project Permissions, or Warehouse Permissions.
Note: The authorization level for a financial document is only valid, if the Dimension Type is set to Project, or Warehousing, or Business Partner. - From

The From and To fields define a range of: attribute values specific to the Financials process. This value is based on the Permission for field.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Of the Employee check box is cleared in the Financials Permissions (tcsec3660m000) session. - Authorization Level

The authorization level you must set for the employee to access the specified attribute related to the Financials process.
Note: The authorization level, Business Partner Permissions is only applicable, if the Permission for field is set to Dimension and the Dimension Type field is set to Business Partner.Allowed values
