Use this session to view and maintain the permissions ( authorization policies, authorization roles, and assigned rules), for the Item.

Note: If the Permission for field is set to Project and you if select the From Authorized Documents check box, the user for which you have setup the permission, is automatically authorized to access the items based on the specified authorization of the projects set in the Project Permissions (tcsec3600m000) session. It is also possible to adopt the same level of authorization from the project.Allowed values

Note:- If this field is set to By Enterprise Unit, all the items in Item Costing Data (ticpr007) are authorized with the least Authorization Level for this rule type.
- The authorization level is overruled by the following rules, if the following settings are meant for a higher Authorization Level.

The sequence number of the permission line.
- Of the Employee

If this check box is selected, the attribute value of the specified business process, must be the same as that linked to the employee in the Employees - General (tccom0101m000) session. Example: if this check box is selected for Item and the attribute value is Technical Coordinator, the employee code for the technical coordinator must be the same as that specified in the Employees - General (tccom0101m000) session.

If this check box is selected, the items selected in this permission line is based on the projects for which the user is authorized.
Note:This field is only valid if the Permission for field is set to Project attribute. These scenarios are applicable:
- The authorized projects determines the range of items selected.
- If the Authorization Level is set to Project Permissions, the project authorization level is assigned to the item authorization level, for the corresponding project item(s).
- From

The From and To fields define a range of: attribute value specific to the item. This value is based on the Permission for field.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Of the Employee check box is cleared in the Item Permissions (tcsec3635m000) session. - Item From

The From and To fields define a range of: project code and items code specified for the value based on the Permission for field.
- Authorization Level

The authorization level you must set for the employee to access the specified attribute related to the item.

The employee can view the data related to the specified business process.
- Use

The employee can use the data related to the specified business process. For example, the employee can use the project data in Hours Accounting.
- Modify

The employee can modify the data and execute the related processes.
- No Permission

The data related to the specified business process is not displayed.
- Not Applicable

This value is displayed only if a business process is not selected.
Note: This option is only valid for the Authorization and Security Parameters (tcsec0100m000) sessions.
Note: If the Authorization Level is set to Project Permissions, the project authorization level is assigned to the item authorization level, for the corresponding project item(s). - Active Rule

If this check box is selected, the permission rule is considered when applying permissions for the Item related business process.
Note: If this check box is cleared, the permission rule is temporarily deactivated
