Import Authorization and Security (tcsec1200m400)
Use this session.to import the authorization and security setup data from an XML file.
- This session is applicable only if the Authorization and Security Enabled check box is selected in the Authorization and Security Parameters (tcsec0100m000) session for the company in which the import session is started. Else, an error message is displayed.
- The Authorization Definition in Company specified in the Authorization and Security Parameters (tcsec0100m000) session must be the same company for which the authorization and security setup import is started. Else, an error message is displayed.
- When the import process is finished, one of these message is displayed in the status bar:
- Authorization and Security data has been imported
- No data within selection
- Process stopped by the user
- Process aborted because of error(s)
Field Information

The server or client to which the files must be imported.
Allowed values
- Client

The file to be exported/imported is on client system.
- Server

The file to be exported/imported is on client server.

The name of the file (file manager) imported on the client..

The name of the file imported on the server.
- Import Data

Indicates that the imported data is appending to the existing data or overwrites the existing data.
Allowed values
- Overwrite Existing Records

The exported/imported data overwrites the existing data available for the company..
- Append New Records

The exported/imported data is appended to the existing data available for the company..
- Delete Other Existing Records

If this check box is selected, non version-controlled data in the import company, which is not in the import file, is deleted.

The status (version) of the file after import.
Allowed values
- Active

The status of imported version-controlled data is set to Active.
- Draft

The status of imported version-controlled data is set to Draft.
- Apply the Permissions

If this check box is selected, the permissions are applied.
Note: This checkbox is enabled only if the Version Status field is set to Active. - Error Report

If this check box is selected, a report is printed showing the errors that occurred during the process.
