States/Provinces (tcmcs1143m000)

Use this session to view, enter, and maintain the states for the selected country.

Note: If the Add State/Province field is set to Yes or Master Data Only in the BOD Parameters (tcbod0100m000) session, new states/provinces can be generated from a Business Object Document (BOD).

Field Information

Country

The country in which the state or province is located.

State/Province

A state/province within the specified country.

Time Zone

The default time zone for all resources with an address in this state or province. If you do not enter a time zone, the time zone of the address' country is the default time zone.

If you do not enter a default time zone here or in the Countries (tcmcs0110s000) session, you must enter the time zone for every address.

Abbreviation

The abbreviation of the state or province that you want to use when you print the address.

If you specify an abbreviation, LN uses the abbreviation to print the address. If you do not specify an abbreviation, LN uses the state or province description to print the address.
