Tax Codes by GEO Code (tcmcs1136m000)
Use this session to assign tax codes to ranges of destination GEO codes. These are the default tax codes used when you maintain orders or invoices in LN.
You can only use this session if you select the Destination Sales Tax Applicable check box in the COM Parameters (tccom0000s000) session.
The tax codes specified here can be overridden by exceptions that you can define in the following sessions:
- Tax Exceptions (tcmcs1138m000)
- Tax Exceptions by Tax Location (tcmcs1139m000)
Assign ranges of GEO codes to the tax codes and specify the start GEO code of each range. The GEO codes from the entered value up to the GEO code specified on the next line are assigned to the specified tax code.
You can enter both complete and partial GEO codes. Note that alphabetic characters in a GEO code have higher values than numbers.
Example
GEO code | Tax code |
- | 400 |
94 | 200 |
94880 | 500 |
95050 | 100 |
GEO codes lower than 94000 are assigned to the 400 tax code. GEO codes from 94000 until 94879 are assigned to the 200 tax code. GEO codes from 94880 until 95049 are assigned to the 500 tax code. GEO codes with the values 95050 and higher are assigned to the 100 tax code.
