Item Identification Set (tcibd4111m000)

Use this session to display and maintain the lots and serial numbers that belong to an item identification set.

In case of direct delivery, LN creates an item identification set when an advance shipping notice (ASN) is received. This information is sent to Service and Invoicing.

To reclaim space in the database, delete unused item identification sets periodically. To delete unused item identification sets, on the appropriate menu, click Delete Unused Sets.

Note: You cannot start this session directly. To access this session, click the Item Identification Set button in sessions such as the Purchase Receipts (tdpur4106m000), Sales Order Actual Delivery Lines (tdsls4106m000), and Service Order Actual Material Costs (tssoc2121m000) session.

Field Information

Identification Set Number: An internal identification code for the item identification set. Usually, this code is not visible to end users.
Sequence: sequence number
Lot: lot
Serial Number: serial number
Quantity in Inventory Unit: The quantity expressed in inventory unit.
