Update Commingling Restricted Components (tcibd0208m000)

Use this session to update the Restricted by Components check box in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session based on the Restrict Commingling and Transfers check box in the same session and the multi-level BOM.

For example, if the Restrict Commingling and Transfers check box is selected for a component of a component of an end item, the Restricted by Components check box must also be selected for the end item.

Note: Run this sessions periodically to keep the component restrictions in sync with the modifications on lower levels of the BOM.

Field Information

Check Effectivity against Date: The effectivity date against which the component restrictions and licensing are verified and updated.
Simulation: If this check box is selected, a report is generated that simulates the update. The update of data is only displayed, not processed.
Process Report: If this check box is selected, a report is generated with the items for which the setting of the Restricted by Components or License Tracking check box has changed.
