- Indicates whether the engineering item is revision-controlled.
- Unit Effective Supply
- If this check box is selected, LN communicates the
effectivity unit of the parent item to the component items. This means that
if the same component item is used in several unit effective parent items,
several orders are generated for the component item, each order with its own

- Update Method for E-Item Relation
- Indicates the method in which LN manages the
relationship between revisions of an EDM controlled engineering item and
standard items or customized items.

If a new revision is created during engineering, and a relationship already exists between the engineering item and an item, the existing (effective) revision number is removed and replaced by the new revision number.
- Freeze

If a new revision is created during engineering, and a relationship already exists between the engineering item and an item, the existing (effective) revision number stays the same, and is not changed. In other words, the revision number of the new revision will not replace the existing revision number.
- Break

If a new revision is created during engineering, and a relationship already exists between the engineering item and an item, the existing (effective) revision number is removed. The removed revision number is not replaced by the new revision number, which means that no revision number is displayed anymore.
- Change Management Allowed

- Effectivity Dates by Change Order
- If this check box is selected, LN allows you to
manage the effectivity dates of the bill of material and routing of the

- Multiple Change Orders Allowed
- If this check box is selected, a single BOM line or
routing operation can be controlled by more than one change order at a time.

- If this check box is selected, the project

- If this check box is selected, a safety
stock is allowed for the engineering item in a project in which

- The weight of engineering item of the selected item type and item group, expressed in the weight unit.

- The product type associated with the engineering item revision.
