Embargo and Boycott Runs (tcgtc2180m000)

Use this session to process and view the list of runs that are executed to verify (in the Simulate mode) the transactions that are affected by one or more embargoes or boycotts.

You can check the compliance for these documents

  • Sales Orders
  • Purchase Orders
  • Shipments
  • Receipts
  • other Project and Service document types can be checked (if implemented)
Note: 
  • This session is enabled only if the
    • Trade Management check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
    • Embargoes and / or Boycotts check box is selected in the Trade Management Parameters (tcgtc0100m000) session.
  • You can only modify the data for the documents that are yet to be processed.

Field Information

Creation Date

The date and time when the embargo and boycott is created.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Run Type

The type of run that is executed for the embargo and boycott transactions.

Allowed values

Block

The compliance check is performed for all Embargo and / or Boycotts that exist within the range of the defined Run process. For each Embargo and / or Boycott in the range that is ‘Active’ the compliance check is performed for all objects that are valid for that Embargo and / or Boycott. Only a Run Result is written when the outcome of the compliance check is a failure and the object is not yet blocked.

For example, the Sales Order Lines in combination with Embargoes. If the Order Line matches with the Embargo Line (the Ship-from Country and Ship-To Country match and the date is effective, and the order line is not cancelled, not blocked and not yet shipped), then the compliance check is done for this line. When the outcome is a failure a Run result is written. Next to that a check result is written and the line is blocked when not simulating. When the outcome is a success, only a check result is written. Success check results are not removed when the embargo and / or boycott is not active anymore because these are not part of the range that is processed.

Unblock

The existing Failure Compliance Check Results that meet the Run definition range are rechecked. In case the block is not valid anymore Run Result is logged with action Released.

Block / Unblock

The ‘Unblock’ scenario is performed first and then the ‘Block’ scenario is performed.

Embargo Applies

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the embargo transactions.

Embargo Export

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the embargo export transactions.

Embargo Import

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the embargo import transactions.

Embargo-from

The From and To fields define a range of: embargo IDs for which the run is executed.

Embargo Priority-from

The From and To fields define a range of: priority numbers assigned to the embargoes.

Boycott Applies

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the boycott transactions.

Boycott Export

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the boycott export transactions.

Boycott Import

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the boycott import transactions.

Boycott Domestic Outbound

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the boycott domestic outbound transactions.

Boycott Domestic Inbound

If this check box is selected, LN executes the compliance check for the boycott domestic inbound transactions.

Boycott-from

The From and To fields define a range of: boycott IDs for which the run is executed.

Boycott Priority-from

The From and To fields define a range of: priority numbers assigned to the boycotts.

Run Date

The date and time when the run for embargo and boycott is processed.

Run By

The user who processes the embargo and / or boycott run.

Simulate

If this check box is selected, LN processes the embargo and / or boycott transactions.

Processed

Indicates that the specified range of embargo and / or boycott transactions are processed.

Text

If this check box is selected, a text is present.
