Various zoom options are available for this workbench:
-
Zoom to Fit

Zoom to Selected
The map will zoom in so that all the selected entities are shown on the map area.
Note: There are 19 different zoom levels in some cases a view will zoom out more than is optimal. -
- Pushpins
-
Entities are represented on the map by pushpins. One pushpin can represent more than one entity in case of several locations grouped close together. The closer the user zooms the more entities will be represented by individual pins.
- Colors
-
By default pushpins are grey with a blue center.
When the Legal Structure view is selected the center of the pushpin changes to the color designating the legal entity the underlying entity belongs to.
When one pushpin represents more than one legal entity, the inner circle is colored black to signify this.
To view which legal entities the pushpin represents, expand the Legend on the bottom left side of the map.
- Legend
-
The Legend only appears on the map when the Legal Structure view is selected. .
- Clustering
-
When several pushpins overlap due to their proximity to each other on the map they are clustered into a single pushpin on the map.
Entities are clustered when a second pushpin is located close enough to have a 40% or greater overlap with it's neighbour.
Zooming in to a specific location will display the separate entities that make up the cluster shown by the pushpin for that location.
- Entities
-
- Selecting entities
-
To select an entity the user has to click on one of the pushpins on the map. A selected pushpin is identified by a red border instead of the default grey. Click on a free place on the map to deselect all pushpins. If all the entities in selected pushpin belongs to same location then the complete details of address location is shown in Details Pane.
Note:Depending on how far the map is zoomed out the pushpin selected can be representing a cluster of entities. In this case clicking on it will select all the entities which are part of the cluster.
Selecting an entity or a cluster affects the hierarchical view layout. In case of a cluster the branch with selected entities is expanded and all other branches are collapsed.
Clicking on another pushpin will deselect all pushpins already selected.
When multiple pushpins need to be selected the SHIFT key needs to be clicked as the desired pushpins are selected. To select a set of pushpins the CTRL key needs to be clicked to drag a selection square over the desired set of pushpins.
