LN always checks the companies. Enterprise units, internal business partners, and clusters are only checked if the corresponding check boxes are selected in this session.

Checks in detail

1. Companies (tcemm1170m000)

   LN checks whether a common company exists for all EMM companies in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0500m000) session. If not, an error is printed.

2. Enterprise Units (tcemm0130m000)

   In the Enterprise Units (tcemm0130m000) session, LN checks whether:

   • The description of the enterprise unit is filled. If not, a warning is printed.
   • The logistic company of the enterprise unit is filled. If not, an error is printed. If yes, LN checks wether the logistic company exists as an EMM company in the Companies (tcemm1170m000) session.
     • If not, an error is printed.
     • If yes, LN checks whether the logistic company is defined as a logistic company for which the Company Type reads Logistic or Both. If not, an error is printed.
   • The financial company of the enterprise unit is filled. If not, an error is printed. If yes, LN checks wether the financial company exists as an EMM company in the Companies (tcemm1170m000) session.
     • If not, an error is printed.
     • If yes, LN checks whether the financial company is defined as a financial company for which the Company Type reads Financial or Both. If not, an error is printed.
   • Internal business partners are linked to the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed if key entities are linked to the enterprise unit. A warning is printed if no key entities are linked to the enterprise unit.
   • Multiple internal business partners are linked to the enterprise unit. If yes, an error is printed.

   For all EMM warehouses with a linked enterprise unit in the Warehouses (tcemm1112m000) session, LN checks whether the warehouse exists as a common warehouse in the Warehouses (tcmcs0503m000) session for the logistic company of the enterprise unit.

   • If not, an error is printed.
   • If yes, LN checks whether:
     • The financial company of the common warehouse is equal to the financial company of the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed.
     • The warehouse exists in the Warehouses (whwmd2500m000) session, if Warehousing is implemented. If not, an error is printed.

   For all key entities with a linked enterprise unit in the Key Entities (tcemm1510m000) session, LN checks whether:

   • The operational company of the key entities is correct.
     • For key entities of the Accounting Office type, the operational company of the key entity must be equal to the financial company of the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed.
     • For all other entities, the operational company of the key entity must be equal to the logistic company of the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed.
   • The key entity exists as a department.
     • If not, an error is printed.
     • If yes, LN checks whether the financial company of the department is equal to the financial company of the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed.

   For all projects with a linked enterprise unit in the Projects (tcemm1113m000) session, LN checks whether:

   • The EMM project exists as TP project in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session. If not, an error is printed.
   • The financial company of the project is equal to the financial company of the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed.

   For all internal business partners with a linked enterprise unit in the Internal Business Partners (tcemm1122m000) session, LN checks whether the operational company of the EMM internal business partner is equal to the logistic company of the enterprise unit. If not, an error is printed.

   For each department linked to the enterprise unit, LN checks whether the department has the correct operational company.

3. Internal Business Partners (tcemm1122m000)

   In the Internal Business Partners (tcemm1122m000) session, LN checks whether:

   • The enterprise unit is filled for the internal business partner. If not, an error is printed.
   • The internal business partner exists as a common business partner in the Business Partners (tccom4500m000) session.
     • If not, an error is printed.
     • If yes, LN checks whether the common business partner is defined as an internal business partner. If not, an error is printed.

4. Planning Clusters (tcemm1135m000)

   In the Planning Clusters (tcemm1135m000) session, LN checks whether warehouses with different companies are linked to the planning cluster. If multiple warehouses with different companies are linked to the planning cluster, a warning message is printed.

5. Key Entities (tcemm1510m000)

   In the Key Entities (tcemm1510m000) session, LN checks whether key entities have a valid enterprise unit.
