Appointment (tccom6600m100)
Use this session to view, enter, and maintain appointments.
An appointment can be linked to a contact, a business partner, an opportunity, or an activity.
You can start this session from the Activities (tccom6100m000) overview session, by double-clicking a record of the Appointment type , or by clicking or Follow Up Appointment on the appropriate menu. You can also start this session stand-alone.
Tabs
The lines on the tabs refer to these sessions:
Attendee
Refers to the Attendee (tccom6105m000) session. On this tab, you can add attendees to the appointment.Notes
Refers to the Notes (tcstl1550m000) session. On this tab, you can view, enter, and maintain the notes that are linked to the appointment. If you double-click a line or enter a new note on this tab, the Note (tcstl1650m000) session is started.References
Refers to the References by Activity (tccom6115m000) session. On this tab, you can view and specify reference information for an appointment and also open the original reference type (e.g. service order, project, work order) sessions by selecting the reference line for which the appointment is generated.Additional Attributes
Refers to the Attributes by Activity (tdsmi2101m000) session. On this tab, you can add attributes to the appointment.
Field Information
- Subject

Enter a short description of the appointment.
- Synchronize

If this check box is selected, the appointment must be synchronized with the attendees' calendar events in Microsoft Exchange.
This check box is only visible if the Synchronize Activities check box is selected in the COM Parameters (tccom0000s000) session.
Note:This check box is only available if, in the Attendee (tccom6105m000) session:
- An attendee is entered for whom the Attendance field is set to Meeting Organizer.
- The Invite check box is selected for one or more attendees other than the Meeting Organizer.
- The attendee's E-mail field is filled.
- Location

The location where the appointment takes place.
- All Day

If this check box is selected, an all day appointment is applicable. Therefore, you can only enter start end end dates, no times.
- Start Date

The date and time the appointment is finished.
- Reminder

If this check box is selected, a reminder is set for the appointment.
- Reminder Value

The amount of time before the appointment that you want the reminder to appear.
- Reminder Type

The amount of time before the appointment that you want the reminder to appear.
- Show Time As

An attendee's availability status during the time period of the appointment.
- Contact

The contact for whom the appointment is made.
- Business Partner

The business partner for whom the appointment is made.
- Phase

The phase in the sales process for which the appointment is made.
- Linked Activity

The activity for which the appointment is made.
- Information

Use this field to add text to the appointment.
- Status

The appointment status, which informs you about the progress of the appointment.
Allowed values
- Completed

For activities of the Mailing type, the status is set to Completed, by default.
- Organizer

The employee who organizes the appointment.
Note: This field is filled with the attendee for whom the Attendance field is set to Meeting Organizer in the Attendee (tccom6105m000) session. - Appointment

- Creation Date

The date on which the appointment is created.
- Last Modified by

The user who last modified the appointment.

The last date on which the appointment is modified.
