Delete Unused Contacts (tccom4240m000)

Use this session to delete the unused contacts from a range of contacts. If you wish, you can refine your selection by entering values in the Date Last Modification From and/or To fields.

For the range of contacts that you enter, LN checks whether:

  • The contact appears on an order, invoice, or other document (also history documents), or the contact is selected for a business partner.
  • You have defined or last modified the contact data after the From date and/or before the To date. The contact's last modification date is recorded in the Contact (tccom1640m000) session.

If the contact is not in use and the last modification date is within the range, LN deletes the contact. LN displays a message box that shows the codes of the contacts that are being deleted.

Note: 
  • If you specify a large range of contacts, it can take a while to check if they are in use.

Warning

  • You are not asked to confirm the deletion of found contacts.
  • You cannot recover deleted contact data.
