Use this session to view, enter, and maintain pay-to business partners.
You can start this session from:
- The Pay-to Business Partners (tccom4524m000) overview session, by double-clicking a record, or by entering a new pay-to business partner.
- The Business Partners (tccom4500m000) overview session, by clicking on the appropriate menu.
- The Business Partner (tccom4100s000) session, by clicking the button.
- Stand-alone.

Activities
Refers to the Activities (tccom6100m000) session. On this tab, you can view, enter, and maintain activities by pay-to business partner.Notes
Refers to the Notes (tcstl1550m000) session. On this tab, you can view, enter, and maintain the notes that are linked to the pay-to business partner. If you double-click a line or enter a new note on this tab, the Note (tcstl1650m000) session is started.Contacts
Refers to the Contacts by Business Partner Role (tccom4545m000) session. On this tab, you can view, enter, maintain, and delete contacts by pay-to business partner and define whether or not the contact is the primary contact for a pay-to business partner. If you double-click a line on this tab, the Contact (tccom1640m000) session is started.Additional Attributes
Refers to the Attributes by Business Partner (tdsmi1101m000) session. On this tab, you can add attributes to a pay-to business partner.

- Pay-to Business Partner
- Department
-
The department that is linked to the business-partner role. The business partner's financial data for the role is registered in the financial company to which the department is linked.
- Workflow Status
-
The status that is applicable if the business object requires authorization approval using ION Workflow.
When you perform a change that requires authorization, a checked-out version is automatically created for the business object. The changes you submit are only effective after approval/check-in. You can also undo your changes, or recall your submitted changes.
- Checked-out and checked-in objects are displayed in the Checked-out Objects (ttocm9599m000) session.
- From the appropriate menu of this session, select Workflow and execute the required action for the business object.
Allowed values
- Draft

The object is checked out. It can be changed and saved multiple times until the user submits the changes.
- Pending
-
Any changes made to the object are submitted. The object is pending for approval. The data of the object cannot be modified.
- Recall Requested
-
The object was already submitted, but is recalled by the user. Approval will not take place anymore. If the recall is accepted, the object status becomes Draft (Revision). If the Recall is rejected, the object status becomes Pending.
- Draft (Revision)
-
The object was recalled after it was submitted and the recall is accepted. The object can be changed and saved multiple times until the user submits the changes.
- Rejected

The submitted changes to the object are rejected. The user can make changes to the object and submit these changes again, or discard all changes.
- Approval Received
-
The submitted changes to the object are approved. The object will automatically be checked in. If the check-in fails, the status remains Approval Received. An administrator must decide what to do with the object.
- Approved

The submitted changes to the object are approved and the object is checked in.
- Not Applicable

The object is checked in. Instead of an Object status, an Approval status is applicable.

Use this field to enter a text related to the pay-to business partner.

Allowed values
- Active

If the business partner (role) status is Active, you can use the business partner for business transactions. You must define the period for which the business partner is Active. If the period is expired, the actual status of the business partner becomes Inactive, and you cannot use the business partner anymore.
- Inactive
-
If the business partner (role) status is Inactive, you cannot use the business partner for business transactions.
You cannot enter an effective date and an expiry date for the Inactive status.
- Prospect
-
You can use the Prospect business partner (role) if you enter general business partner data but you do not enter details for a specific role. If no details for a specific role are defined, you cannot enter, for example, sales orders or purchase contracts because the sold-to role or buy-from role is not specified.
You must define the period for which the business partner is Prospect. If the period is expired, the actual status of the business partner becomes Inactive, and you cannot use the business partner anymore.

- Calendar

The payment calendar you use for the business partner.
You can optionally use payment calendars to determine the due dates for sales invoices and purchase invoices. On the payment calendar, you can indicate bank holidays and other periods during which your company or the pay-by business partner cannot make payments.

The business partner's fax number at the business address.

If this check box is cleared, the currency in your payments to this business partner is defaulted from the corresponding invoice.

Default value
The purchase exchange-rate type you have selected for the current company in the Companies (tcemm1170m000) session.

The business partner's bank to which you make payments to the business partner.
- Bank Account Number

The business partner's bank account number.
- Bank Relation

Your bank relation through which you make payments to the business partner' bank.
This bank relation is the default bank relation for payment advices.
- Extra Days after Due Date

The average number of days after the invoice due date when the cash transaction takes place. For example, the number of days that the bank needs to transfer the money.
For example, if the Extra Days after Due Date field is 2, and the invoice due date is 10 July 2001, the expected payment date is 12 July 2001.
- Bank Charge Borne by Supplier

To indicate that you are not liable for the bank charges for the payment transfers, select this check box.
If this check box is cleared, LN calculates and posts the bank charges as sundry costs.

If this check box is selected, revenue stamp tax is imposed on the documents that you exchange with the business partner.
- Trade Note Division Method

When you create a trade note, if you select a division method, LN divides the trade note amount according to the selected division method and generates a number of trade notes for the resulting amounts. Apart from the division method, such a division is also subject to the maximum number of trade notes that you can generate for the business partner, and the minimum amount for which a trade note can be created.
You can only select Revenue Stamp Tax Division after you select the Revenue Stamp Tax Applicable check box and click Save to save the business partner details.
