Period Tables (tcccp0160m000)
Use this session to list and to maintain period tables. LN uses period tables to group periods with common attributes.
- You can use the option from the menu to determine a value for the duration fields based on the data defined the Periods (tcccp0170m000) session.
- You can use the option from the menu to define data for duration fields on the period table manually in the Set Period Duration (tcccp0260m000) session.
For each period table you can define whether or not:
- LN must check if the dates that you define for a period in the Generate Periods (tcccp0270m000) session belong to the defined calendar year.
- LN can modify periods of which the period table is in use.
- LN can delete periods while their period table is in use.
- Gaps are allowed between two years.
Once you have defined a period table, you can use the Periods (tcccp0170m000) session to define periods for that table. The periods defined for a table share the characteristics defined for the table; for example, the time zone code, and whether modification is allowed.

- Period Table Code

The period table code identifies the period group that belongs to it.
- Duration
-
The duration of the period table. This also indicates the time interval that each generated period covers.
The following table shows the values that you must enter to create time intervals of 1 month, 1 week (7 days), 2 weeks, and 1 quarter. Quarter is not possible, only days weeks and months.

Note:- You can add a period table with the duration type set to Not Applicable only for the existing periods with no defined duration type.
- This field can be modified only if the Duration Type field value is set to other than Not Applicable and Periods are not defined. In this scenario you can have the Detect Duration or Set Duration options.
- Start Time

The time from which the duration is valid for the periods of the period table.
Note: This field is enabled only if the periods are not defined for the period table. - Calendar Year

If this check box is selected, the dates that you define for the periods in the Generate Periods (tcccp0270m000) session must fall in the defined calendar year, which you must define in that same session.

Indicates if details of periods can be modified in the Periods (tcccp0170m000) session while the period table is in use.

- Time Zone

The time zone to which the period table applies.
You can specify a time zone other than your own time zone.
In the Periods (tcccp0170m000) session you can click Switch to Year Time Zone to switch to the time zone that you specify in this field.
