Items - Quality Data (qmptc0118m000)

Use this session to create and maintain quality data for an item. LN uses the quality data of an item as a default when an inspection order is created.

Note: You can also link an item to a quality group.

Note: Use Text icon to specify additional information related to the item quality data. LN defaults this information in the Inspection Order (qmptc1100m100) session.

Field Information

Item

The code of the item.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Test Data Enter By

The method to determine how the test data is entered.

Note: LN considers the method defined here for the test data.

Allowed values

Characteristic: If this option is selected, you can enter the test data by Characteristic. A reference to a particular quality or distinctive mark of an item or an item part/component. For example, diameter, length, weight.
Sample Part: If this option is selected, you can enter the test data by Sample Part. A part drawn from the item to test it.
Sequence: If this option is selected, you can enter the test data by Sequence. The sequence number of the item on the basis of which characteristics are tested on different samples.

Quality Group

The code of a group of items with similar quality characteristics. The data defined for the quality group are used as defaults for all items of that quality group. The item is linked to this Quality Group Items (qmptc0120m000) session.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Owner

The unique code that identifies the owner. The value in this field is defaulted to the Testing Combinations (qmptc0119m000) session.

Partial FAI Test Procedure

The code of the partial FAI test procedure used to create the order inspection.
