Quantity and Rate
For a Subcontracting Procurement Order Line with the Line Type field set to Quantity and Rate,
you can specify the Quantity and the Procurement Rate. The application calculates the Amount
based on this formula: Amount = Quantity x Procurement Rate.
Note: This amount is used in the financial transactions.
You can select the Call-Off check box. However, you cannot specify the Capped Amount. The upper limit of the total Call-Off Quantity for a Subcontracting Procurement Order Line is calculated based on this formula:
Call-Off Quantity = Subcontracting Procurement Order Line Quantity + Variation Quantity (if variations exist)
Note: You must specify the Quantity, however, the Procurement
Rate can be zero. When the Procurement
Rate is zero:
- Financial transactions are not written (because amount is zero).
- AFP is not expected.
For equipment the quantity unit is defaulted with the Time Unit of the Equipment Cost Object. Next to this quantity, the equipment quantity can be entered. This is the number of pieces of equipment that is required. Just for information.
