Resource Utilization Options (plaps0181m000)
Use this session to view and maintain the settings of the Resource Utilization graph.
Field Information
- Username
- The logon code of the user who modifies the Resource Utilization settings.

- The code of the scenario.
- Horizon

- Horizon Type
- The time period which the data to be
displayed in the Resource Utilization graph.

- The start date of the horizon.Note: This field is enabled only if the Horizon Type field is set to Absolute.

- The end date of the horizon.Note: This field is enabled only if the Horizon Type field is set to Absolute.

displaying the data in the Resource Utilization graph.Note: This field is enabled only if the Horizon Type field is set to Relative.

- The units in which the horizon is
expressed.

- The resources whose capacity is overloaded on average are displayed.
- With Utilization without Capacity
- The resources with jobs scheduled when capacity is not available are displayed.
- Type
- The resource type to be displayed in the Resource Utilization graph.

Note: You can select the Constrained Type and Unconstrained Type resources at a time.
- Threshold Percentage
- The point at which a resource is considered
overloaded.Note: You must specify the value in percentage.
- Capacity
- The capacity mode to be displayed in the Resource Utilization
graph.

- If this check box is selected, a limited
number of buckets within the plotting area are displayed in the Resource
Utilization graph.Note: By default, this check box is selected.

- If this check box is selected, the availability of resources based on the calendar are displayed in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Aggregation
- This field consolidates the resource utilization percentages into a single
series, averaged based on the selected type.

- View Type
- The view type to be displayed in the Resource Utilization
graph.
Allowed values
- Setup vs Production
- The detailed view displays the proportion of capacity used for setup time versus production time within each time bucket for the requested horizon.
- Lateness Type
- The detailed view displays the proportion of capacity allocated to producing early, on-time, and late orders within each time bucket for the requested horizon.
- Order Status
- The detailed view displays the proportion of capacity allocated to producing planned, firm planned, and released orders within each time bucket for the requested horizon.
- Allocation Type
- The detailed view displays the resources based on the allocation type.
- View Mode
- The type of the resource utilization display.

- Buffer Information
- This field determines whether to add or remove a series from the graph
that displays the buffer information of the resources.
Allowed values
- Time
- The average buffer time of all operations that are planned to start on that day are displayed.
- Average Work buffer
- The number of extra hours of work available for a resource at a specific
time is displayed.Note: This option is available only when the graph is grouped by day.
- None
- The buffer information is not displayed in the graph, except for the Planning Buffer.

- The color code for indicating early orders in the Resource Utilization graph.
- On Time Orders
- The color code for indicating on time orders in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Late Orders
- The color code for indicating late orders in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Tolerance

- Threshold
- The lateness tolerance threshold for
the Resource Utilization graph. Note: The orders turn to white if they are less late. This is based on the value specified in this field.
- Granularity
- The granularity color that indicates how late or early an order is based on the color saturation (how close or far it is from white).

- The color code for indicating planned orders in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Firm Planned Orders
- The color code for indicating firm planned orders in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Released Orders
- The color code for indicating released orders in the Resource Utilization graph.

- The color code for indicating confirmed orders in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Setup Time
- The color code for indicating setup time for resources in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Production
- The color code for indicating production of the resources in the Resource Utilization graph.

- The color code for indicating customer order allocations in the Resource Utilization graph.
- Warehouse Demand Orders
- The color code for indicating warehouse demand orders in the Resource Utilization graph.

- The color code for indicating other order allocations in the Resource Utilization graph.
