Building a flow chart
- Select Business Process Management > Business Process Master Data > Workflow Template Management Workbench. The PLM Project (pdadm3600m000) session is displayed.
- Click Add step, in the Workflow Editor, on the Toolbar. The Add Step dialog box is displayed.
- Select a step type.

Specify a name for the step in the Step
ID and click OK.
Note: The Step ID must be specified and cannot be modified.

Click Open Junction on the toolbar.
The Open Junction dialog box is displayed.
Note: You can also open a junction by selecting a link which has target end as User Step.
- Select a type from the list.
- Specify a step ID and click OK. The junction is added to the flow chart.

Select the steps that must be closed and click Close Junction on the toolbar. The junction is closed. You can
add other steps or tasks.
Note:
- Using the above process, you can add as multiple tasks, steps, and junctions.
- You can view and update the attributes of each step and task in the properties pane.
- The attributes can be updated for each step and task when the template is defined. This can be performed after the workflow is associated with a business process.
- A workflow template must have the COMPLETE FOR DISPATCH status before it can be used with the Dispatch option.
