Concept activation for PLM item segmentation

To activate PLM Item segmentation, you must activate the concept in the Concept Activation (tcemm4600m100) session. The concept activation implies that the Item segmentation in PLM cannot be maintained manually. Instead, a set of steps must be executed that guides you through the status from In Preparation to Active.

Prerequisites

Before activating the item segmentation in PLM concept, you must ensure these:

  • The user who performs the activation concept must exist in both LN and PLM.
  • The user who performs this operation must have super user permissions to activate the concept.(For more info contact Team Infor ASG.)
  • This operation is irreversible and effective to the entire Tenant.
  • When activating the item segmentation in PLM concept, the associated companies are locked, and all the other users cannot perform any actions in the application.
