Generate Rough Planning (fmrpg1200m000)
Use this session to create overviews of transport-capacity requirements.
Transport capacity requirement overviews are based on aggregated volume, weight, and floor space figures of selected freight orders for a time span defined by the user. The volume, weight, and floor space figures can be presented in selected measuring units. You can print daily, weekly, and monthly requirement reports over a selected period.
The procedure to create transport capacity requirement overviews includes the following steps:
- Select the freight orders on which you want the overview to be based.
- Select the preferred type of overview: capacity report or on-screen display.
Freight order range
To select the range of freight orders on which the overview is based, you can use the following selection criteria:
- Shipping Office
- Planning Group
- Freight Order
- Transport Means Group
- Planned load and delivery dates
- Ship-from and ship-to addresses
- From Item
- Freight Service Level
For each of these criteria, you must enter a range.
Overviews: capacity reports and on-screen displays
After you specify the range of freight orders for your overview, you can select the preferred output: capacity report or on-screen display. Capacity reports can be printed immediately and on-screen displays appear as forms on your screen. For both the reports and the on-screen displays, the following information is available:
- Planned Load Date
- Transport Means Group
- Volume
- Weight
- Floor Space
If you select the Include Actual Freight Orders check box, Expected, Planned, and Actual freight orders are aggregated in the total weight, volume, and floor space requirements displayed in your overview.

On-screen displays
To select on-screen displays, select the preferred option: weekly or monthly overview on the Consolidate Planning on group box. To include Actual freight orders in your overview, select the Include Actual Freight Orders check box. Actual refers to the Actual freight order status.
