Weight and Volume Classes (fmfmd0190m000)

Use this session to view and maintain volume and weight classes.

A volume or weight class consists of the following components:

  • Class type
  • Range with from and to values
  • Class code
  • Description

You can maintain the from and to values in the current session and the class codes and descriptions in the Class Codes (fmfmd0195m000) session.

Field Information

Class Type

A class type is an entity used to categorize classes. Weight is the class type for weight classes and Volume is the class type for volume classes. On opening the current session, this field displays the active class type.

You can maintain classes of the active class type right away. Use the Group arrow buttons to change class type.

Class Code

The class code of the current volume or weight class.

From

The begin value of the range of the current weight or volume class.

To

The end value of the range of the current weight or volume class.

Unit (Quantity/Weight/Volume/Area)

The default freight-management weight or volume unit. The default Freight Management units are defined in the Freight Master Data Parameters (fmfmd0100m000) session.
