Generate BCM or BCC

Use this session to generate bills of critical materials and/or bills of critical capacities. Enterprise Planning generates bills of critical materials on the basis of the BOM structure information of the critical plan items. To generate the bill of critical materials, you must already have defined the BOM structure in the Bill of Material (tibom1110m000) session. If LN generates a bill of critical materials, it takes the effective date and the expiry date of the items into account, that is, the item validity. LN carries out a BOM explosion to the level of the lowest critical plan item to generate the bill of critical materials.

To generate bills of critical capacities, Enterprise Planning also takes into account the product structure information, the bill of material (BOM), the routing operations of plan items, and the work centers associated with these routing operations. In addition, LN takes into account effective dates and expiry dates of BOM components, and uses these dates to carry out a BOM explosion up to the level of the next plan items or critical material you defined as Critical in Master Planning in the Items - Planning (cprpd1100m000) session. During this explosion, LN computes the capacity requirements of work centers that you defined as Critical in Master Planning in the Work Centers (tirou0101m000) session. These capacity requirements are then included in the bill of critical capacities.

Note: LN also generates bills of critical materials and bills of critical materials for generic items. The bills of critical materials that Enterprise Planning generates for generic items are based on the BOM.

Error Report: If this check box is selected, a log report is printed that contains all the errors and related causes when generating the bill of critical materials.
Process and Error Report: If this check box is selected, a report is generated that contains a log message for each critical component that is exploded from the bill of material of the selected plan items.
Generate Bill of Critical Material: Select this check box to generate the bill of critical materials for the specified plan item(s).
Generate Bill of Critical Capacities: Select this check box to generate the bill of critical capacities for the specified plan item(s).
