Remove Plan Items of Closed Projects (cprpd1220m000)
Use this session to remove all plan-item data for a plan item that you will never use anymore. This action can improve system performance, especially if you have a very large number of relatively simple projects.
You can start this session by zooming from the Item Planning Defaults (cprpd1110m000) session.
The session also generates a report that lists all removed plan items, and the plan items that could not be removed. If the plan item is still used somewhere, LN does not remove the plan item. Then, to get more detailed error messages, try to delete the plan item manually by using the Items - Planning (cprpd1100m000) session.
If the Simulation check box is selected, LN prints the report, but does not actually remove the plan items.
- This session does not remove item data (in packages other than Enterprise Planning); this session only removes plan item data.
- You can reopen a closed project. In that case, you cannot restore the removed plan item data; you must rebuild the plan item data manually.
- If you remove the plan items of a closed project, and copy the closed project to a new project, LN automatically recreates the removed plan items in the new project.

If this check box is selected, LN does not actually remove plan items. LN only prints a report that shows which plan items would have been removed if you would have cleared this check box.
