Prerequisites

Before starting the configuration data export or import, you must meet these prerequisites:

• Define a unique system of record (SOR) or specify different number groups and series for each of the environments involved. See Data integrity.
• If the destination application environment contains data, the source and destination environments must be conceptually identical. For example, the Sites concept must be either active or inactive in both environments.
• The Tools setup of LN must be in place. This includes the table sharing setup as defined in the Table Sharing Modeler, and company-specific Tools data, such as text windows, text groups, and devices.
• The source and destination configuration-data company mapping must be set up in the Configuration Data Company Mapping (ttdcm0530m000) session. This is to accomplish that the data is imported in the correct destination companies and the company numbers are converted within the data.
