Employee Group (bpxtm0620m000)

Use session to create an employee group. You can also add information about privileges which can be assigned to the employees.
Note: You can delete an employee group only if an employee/s is not linked to the employee group.

    Refers to the Employees by Employee Group (bpxtm0130m000) session. On this tab, you can assign an employee to the employee group.

  • Day Types

    Refers to the Day Type by Employee Group (bpxtm0140m000) session. On this tab, you can link day types to an employee group.

Employee Group

The unique code that identifies the employee group.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Employee Details

If this check box is selected, employee data can be utilized by a third-party application to capture the attendance hours. This is useful in case the employee is temporary.

Use Time-Off Requests

If this check box is selected, time-off requests can be utilized.

Use Attendance

If this check box is selected, attendance functionality can be used by employees from this employee group.

Use Attendance Time Off Requests
Indicates whether the attendance time off requests functionality is implemented for the employee group.
Note: This value is defaulted from the Use Attendance Time Off Requests check box in the Attendance Parameters (bpxtm0100m000) session.
Hours to Day
The reference value that is used to calculate the number of days of absence for the employee of the selected employee group.
Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance Time Off Requests check box is selected in the Attendance Parameters (bpxtm0100m000) session.
Default Attendance Types
Normal Time

The attendance type used as normal time (working hours).

Note: 
  • This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Use Standby Time

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify a value for the Standby Time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Standby Time

The attendance type used as a standby time.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Standby Time check box is selected.
Use Travel

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify value for the Travel time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Travel

The attendance type used as a travel time.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Travel check box is selected.
Use Absence

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify value for the Absence time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Absence

The attendance type used as an absence time.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Absence check box is selected.
Use Offsite

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify value for the Offsite time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Offsite

The attendance type used as an offsite time.

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Offsite check box is selected.
Use Attendance Time

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify the Attendance Time.

Attendance Time

The attendance time specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Attendance Time check box is selected.
Use Basic Shift Difference

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify the Basic Shift Difference time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Basic Shift Difference

The shift difference specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Basic Shift Difference check box is selected.
Use Punched Break

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify Punched Break time.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Punched Break

The punched break specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session. Punched Break period is the break time for an employee.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Punched Break check box is selected.
Use Auto Break

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify Auto Break time. The break time is specified in hours.

Note: This field is enabled only if the Use Attendance check box is selected.
Auto Break

The auto break specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Auto Break check box is selected.
Use Posting Difference Clock In

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify Posting Difference Clock In time

Posting Difference Clock In

The clock-in difference time specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session.

Note: 

This field is enabled only if:

  • The Use Attendance check box is selected.
  • The Use Posting Difference Clock In check box is selected.
Use Posting Difference Clock Out

If this check box is selected, LN allows you to specify Posting Difference Clock Out time.

Posting Difference Clock Out

The clock-out difference time specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session.

The closing difference time specified in the Day Type (bpxtm1600m000) session.
