Creating a return sales order

To retrieve the stock in return, create a return sales order manually.

  1. Access the Sales Order Intake Workbench (tdsls4601m200) session and click New. The Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session is displayed.
  2. Select the business partner in the Business Partner field of the Sold-to BP section and press Tab.
    Note: Infor LN populates the data for the selected business partner.
  3. Select the sales order type for reversal invoice EST (Reversal Invoice) in the Order Type field.
  4. Select References > Sales Order Details The Sales Orders (tdsls4100m000) session is displayed.
  5. Specify the original order details in the Returns section, reason for return in the Return Reason field, and click Save.
  6. Select Actions > Copy from Original Document to copy the order lines from the original sales order. The Sales Order Invoice Lines (tdsls4106m100) session opens.
  7. Verify that the order line is added to the Order Lines tab of the Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session.
  8. Click the Approve button to approve the sales order and execute the order line activities.
  9. Select the first order line on the Order Lines tab and click References > Status. The Sales Order Line Status (tdsls4534s000) session is displayed.
  10. Review the order line activities and click Execute to release the sales order to Warehousing.
  11. Select References > View Lines Moniter in the Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session. The Sales Order Lines - Monitor (tdsls4510m000) session is displayed.
  12. Verify that your sales order displays in the Linked Object field and click Open Object. The Inbound Line Status Overview (whinh2119m000) session opens.
  13. Select Actions > Receive . The Warehouse Receipt (whinh3512m000) session opens.
  14. Select the receipt line on the Lines > Receipt tab and click Confirm to perform the physical receipt without creating a fiscal note.
  15. Verify that the warehouse receipt is updated in the Document Number field of the Sales Order Line Status (tdsls4534s000) session.
  16. Click Execute to release the sales order line to Invoicing.
  17. Access the Invoicing (cisli3600m000) session, select the sales order in the third segment of theSource Document field, and click Apply Filter.
  18. Select the billable line of the sales order on the Billable Lines tab and click ActionsCompose invoice. The Invoice Status is updated to Ready to Print.
  19. Select the invoice lines of the sales order on the Actions tab and click Actions > Submit to External Invoicing The Invoice Status is automatically updated to Submitted to Approved by External System.
