Creating a sales schedule
To create a sales schedule:
- Access the Sales Schedule (tdsls3611m100) session and click New. The Sales Schedule (tdsls3611m000) session is displayed.
 - 
				Select  Sold-to Business Partner and
					press Tab.
				Note: Infor LN populates the data related to the selected business partner.
 - Select the series for sales schedule in the Schedule field and select Material Release in the Schedule Type field of the Control section.
 - Select the item in the Customer Item field of the Item section and press Tab.
 - 
				Verify that the item associated with the selected Customer Item field is displayed in the
					second segment of the Item
					field.
				Note: To create a sales schedule, an active contract must be defined for the selected item and the sold-to business partner.
 - Click New on the Schedule Lines tab to create the schedule lines for the sales schedule and click Save.
 - Select Actions > Approve in the schedule header section to approve the schedule. The Approved Sales Schedules (tdsls3211m000) session is displayed.
 - Review the data and click Approve. The schedule line Status is updated to Approved.
 - Select Actions > Release to Order in the sales schedule header. The Release Sales Schedules to Order (tdsls3207m000) session is displayed.
 - 
				Select the sales order type linked to the warehousing order in the Order Type to generate the warehousing order
					and click Release.
				Note: If the value in the Order Type field is not specified, Infor LN selects the default value defined in the Default Order Types by Origin (whinh0120m000) session.
 - Verify that the generated warehouse orders are displayed in the Release to Order report.
 - Click Close in the Release Sales Schedules to Order (tdsls3207m000) session.
 - Verify that the sales schedule line Status is updated to Order Generated on the Schedule Lines tab of the Sales Schedule (tdsls3611m000) session.
