Sales order return
To create a return sales order:
- Access the Sales Order Intake Workbench (tdsls4601m200) session and click New. The Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session is displayed.

Select the business partner in the Business
Partner field and press Tab.
Note: Infor LN populates the data related to the selected business partner.
- Select S02 Sales Return Order Type in the Order Type field, select sales office and the order series in the Order field of the Control section.
- Select References > Sales Order Details. The Sales Order Details (tdsls4101m000) session is displayed
- Specify the original document details in the Returns section and click Save.
- Select Actions > Copy from Original Document. The Sales Order Invoice Lines (tdsls4106m100) session is displayed.
- Select the invoice line of the sales order and click Save changes and exit. The Remarks during Copy Sales Order report is displayed.
- Verify that the original order line is copied to the Order Lines tab in the Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session.
- Click Go to Details for the order line on the Order Lines tab. The Sales Order Lines (tdsls4101m000) session is displayed.
- Select the third-party warehouse in the Ship-to Warehouse of the Shipping section on the Shipping tab as Payment is Pay on Use for the original sales order.
- Specify the return quantity manually in the Ordered Quantity field as this is a partial return.
- Click Approve to approve the sales order.
- Verify that the sales order line is selected on the Order Lines tab and click References > Status. The Sales Order Line Status (tdsls4534s000) session is displayed.
- Click Execute to release the sales order to Warehousing.
- Access the Warehousing Orders (whinh2100m000) session and click the Go to Details button for warehousing order of your sales order. The Warehousing Order (whinh2100m100) session is displayed.
- Select the outbound order line on the Outbound Lines tab and click References > Status Overview. The Outbound Line Status Overview (whinh2129m000) session is displayed.
- Verify that the Generate Outbound Advice and the Release Outbound Advice activities are automatically executed and click Actions > Freeze/Confirm. The Shipment Lines (whinh4131m000) session opens.
- Select the shipment line on the Shipments tab and click Confirm. The shipment line Status is updated to Confirmed on the Status tab.
- Verify that all the outbound activities are executed in the Outbound Line Status Overview (whinh2129m000) session and the Shipped quantity is updated in the Quantities In Inventory Unit section.
- Verify that the Line Status is Shipped for the outbound line on the Outbound Lines tab of the Warehousing Order (whinh2100m100) session.
- Select the inbound order line on the Inbound Lines tab and click References > Status Overview. The Inbound Line Status Overview (whinh2119m000) session is displayed.
- Select Actions > Receive. The Warehouse Receipts (whinh3512m000) session opens.
- Select the receipt line on the Receipt Lines tab and click Actions > Create Brazilian Invoice. This option generates the receipt invoice in the Match Receipt Lines to Fiscal Document (btrec1101m000) session.
