Packaging Advice Lines (whwmd5545m100)
Use this session to maintain the prepacking advice lines data based on the location where the goods are packed. This session is displayed as a satellite session in the Prepacking Advice (whwmd5640m000) session.
Field Information
- Prepacking Advice Line

The shipment for which the prepacking advice is created.
- Packaging Location

The location where the goods are repacked.
Note:- This field is applicable only for the warehouses that are location controlled.
- The location type must be Bulk or Pick.

Allowed values
- New

This is the initial state of the prepacking advice lines. The planner generates or adds the proposed stock points.
- Inventory Proposed
-
Proposed stock points are created for the prepacking advice line. This status is set when at least one proposed stock point is present for the packing of the prepacking advice line.
- Inventory Available for Packing
-
The inventory is available for packing when the inventory is moved from the bulk/pick location to the packing location. The inventory is now committed on the stock point level and is not available for other users.
- Packing in Process
-
The first packing action for a specific prepacking advice line is executed. In case of only one actual stock point for the prepacking advice line, this status is not applicable.
- Packed

All actual stock points for the prepacking advice lines are packed into the respective handling units.
- Packing Canceled

The demands are changed, or when prepacking advice is canceled.
- Shortage Quantity

The quantity of the item that is less than the planned quantity.
