Handling Unit Version History (whwmd5531m000)

Use this session to view the history of handling units. Version controlled handling units obtain a new version number each time they are split. The initial version number of version-controlled handling units is 1. Handling units that are not version-controlled always have version number 0.

Handling units for which splitting is enabled can be defined as version controlled in the Handling Unit Version Controlled field of the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4600m000) session.

Each time a handling unit obtains a new status, and each time a new version is created for a (version-controlled) handling unit, LN creates a history record, which is displayed in this session. The date and time in which the history record is created is displayed in the Date of Creation field.

Field Information

Date of Creation

The date and time on which the handling unit obtained a new status or a new version was created for the handling unit.

Length

The length of the handling unit.

Width

The width of the handling unit.

Height

The height of the handling unit.

Dimension Unit

The unit in which the dimensions of the handling unit are expressed.

Splittable

If this check box is selected, the handling unit can be split up into multiple handling units.

For example, the handling unit is Pallet, and the Pallet handling unit has child handling units called Box. If the Pallet handling unit is splittable, any number of Boxes can be advised from or into inventory.

If this check box is cleared, only entire Pallets can be advised.

Note: The use of unsplittable handling units may result in inventory shortage messages. For example, if 50 items X are advised, but in inventory only unsplittable pallets that contain 500 items X are available.
Option List ID

option list ID

The ASN specifications include the option list ID. The ASN specifications are populated from the Inbound Order Lines (whinh2110m000) session. In turn, the specifications on the inbound order line are populated from the purchase schedule line.

For configurable purchased items in Warehousing , only the option list ID is part of the specifications. This means that inventory is maintained per option list ID and is the total of inventory of all product variants with the same option list ID.

Note:
  • The field is displayed only if the Assembly (APL/ASC/ASL) check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.

  • The field is populated only for configurable purchased items and manufactured assembly (FAS) items.

Stock Point Details Present

If this check box is selected, detailed information related to the multiple stock points packed within the handling unit exists.

Note: This check box is selected only for the bottom level handling units.
Allow Multi Stock Point

If this check box is selected, for a particular handling unit, Infor LN allows you to combine the multiple stock points in the selected handling unit.

Note: This value is defaulted from the Handling Unit Templates (whwmd4160m000) session in case a package definition is linked. If the Package Definition field is blank, Infor LN selects this check box.
Asset Tag

The asset tag of the handling unit.

An asset tag is a serial number that identifies a handling unit. Label printing is available for asset tags.

Note: Asset tags are not related to the serial numbers of serialized items.

Sold-to Business Partner

The sold-to business partner to which the inventory is allocated.

LN can use the items supplied by the current order to fulfill an order for this sold-to business partner. LN does not use these items to other business partners.

Ship-to Business Partner

The ship-to business partner to which the inventory is allocated.
